• Updates over the Christmas period

    Just a quick message to let you know that the UK based Data Teams will be taking a well-earned break over the Christmas period. From Friday 23rd December through to Tuesday 3rd January 2023 there will be minimal data updates across our Fleets, MRO, and Interiors datasets.

    We wish all Cirium customers a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and rest assured the team will be back raring to go in the new year.

  • Aircraft Ground Events: tracking global maintenance events

    I’m pleased to announce the availability of a new “Data Demonstrator” within the new Airline Profiles product. We’ve added a tab (alongside Fleet and News) titled “Ground Events”.     Since we launched Profiles, the landing page has been the fleet tab for American Airlines. This is great if you’re really interested in American Airlines, but it’s far from ideal for everybody else. I’m therefore pleased to announce the release of a new homepage for Profiles.

  • New dataset: Fuel burn and CO2 emissions

    We are pleased to announce the release of our new fuel burn and CO2 emissions add-on.

    We calculate fuel burn and CO2 emissions by combining our satellite-based tracking capability with our fuel and emissions model. We currently provide fuel burn and CO2 emissions for ~98.8% of in-service regional, narrowbody and widebody jets (learn more).

  • New dataset: Tracked hours & cycles

    In addition to our existing reported hours & cycles data (which covers ~50% of in-service regional, narrowbody and widebody jets), we are pleased to announce the release of our new tracked hours & cycles dataset.

    This new dataset (derived from satellite-based tracking of aircraft) covers ~99.7% of in-service regional, narrowbody and widebody jets.

  • Turkey changed to Turkiye

    To bring our data in line with IATA standards, we have recently changed the country name of Turkey to Turkiye.

    All operator and company names within Turkiye remain unchanged unless they officially update their names.

    If you had Saved Searches that included filters for Turkey, please check them and update if necessary.
