Finance and traffic for airlines and airports

We have added a new tab “Finance & Traffic” to the existing Companies section. You can view more than 70 different traffic- and finance-related metrics, and see how they change over time (monthly and yearly for traffic, quarterly and yearly for finance). We have traffic and finance data going back to 1989. The following two examples demonstrate the types of searches that can be performed with this data:

Donut charts

Donut charts on profile pages have been updated so that the donut portion now shows percentage, and the legend shows actual values, with the total displayed at the bottom of the legend.

Change to the Quick Filter Select (QFS)

When we cannot match a registration number, we have always displayed a small message, and the same applies for MSNs; but a bug meant that when we could not match either, the message was not visible. This has now been fixed.

Bug – Columns not sorting correctly

Sorting some columns had not been working correctly, as a result of a bug, and this has now been fixed. The sorting was prioritising uppercase letters before lowercase; now, column sorting is case-insensitive.

Bug – Enter key cancelling an export

We have fixed a bug where hitting the “Enter” key on the keyboard was activating the Cancel command, rather than the default Export command, in the export dialogue window.

Bug – Maintenance D-checks sub-grid

When a grid cell in Projection displaying D-checks was clicked, the sub-grid that opened was showing a list of all aircraft for the row – i.e. showing all aircraft projected to have D-checks over the whole period. This has now been fixed so that the sub-grid shows only the aircraft projected to have the D-checks during the selected interval.

Bug – Period sub-grid being displayed when interval sub-grid should be displayed

When a whole row in Trend/Projection is expanded, all the aircraft related to the Trend metric for the whole period should be displayed in the sub-grid. There was an issue where if a cell/interval sub-grid was displayed first, and then the row expanded,  the row sub-grid was the same as the previous interval sub-grid. This caching issue has now been fixed.

Bug – Company search dropdown

The Company Search option available on the homepage was not showing the results dropdown correctly, with the bottom of the dropdown being hidden behind another page element. This has now been fixed.

Bug – Incorrect MTOW values

There was an issue where some MTOW values were being displayed as a zero, these have now been replaced with “-“, which indicates that we have no data.
