  • China, Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan – Name alterations

     

    Following feedback from some clients we have taken the decision to standardise our naming conventions for China, Macau, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

    From this week these territories are now represented as follows:

    • China
    • Hong Kong SAR
    • Macau SAR
    • Taiwan

    For those unaware, the “SAR” stands for Special Administrative Region.

  • Name change for Mitsubishi MRJ

    In line with the recent announcement, we have renamed the Mitsubishi MRJ to the Mitsubishi SpaceJet.

    The sub series taxonomy has also changed to reflect the name with the MRJ90 becoming the SpaceJet M90.

    Changes will show in Fleets Analyzer from Friday 14th June.

  • Split of ‘Business Jets – Bizliners’ Market Grouping

    Based on customer feedback, we’ve decided to split the Business Jets – Bizliners Market Grouping into 2 distinct groups i.e.:

    • Business Jets – Bizliners – Widebody e.g. 747 BBJ, A330 ACJ
    • Business Jets – Bizliners – Narrowbody e.g. 737 BBJ, A319 ACJ

    As part of this split, we’ve also moved additional aircraft types into the ‘Business Jets – Large’ Market Grouping e.g. Legacy 600/650, Challenger 850/870

  • Change to serial number format of Cessna 208 Caravan

    Based on customer feedback and to bring consistency across the OEM in our data, we have recently added a “-“ character into all serial numbers for the Cessna 208 Caravan.

    This means that all Textron Aviation (Cessna) types in our data have a dash as standard in the msn format.

    Changes will show in Fleets Analyzer from 24th January.

  • Piston twin updates – November 2018

    We are pleased to announce the third in our series of piston twin data updates, this month we have the following types now available for business aviation subscribers:

    • VulcanAir (Partenavia) P68
    • Tecnam P2006
    • Tecnam P2012

    These types are being released with current fleet information as well as accident write ups going back at least 10 years – we are still working backwards on the full histories for these types so please be aware of this when using the trend function in Fleets Analyzer.

    • Cessna 404
    • Cessna 414
