Release Notes v8.0
The following new features have been added in this release:
- Accidents section and accident filters
Accidents section and accident filters
We are very pleased to announce that accidents data is now available in Flight Fleets Analyzer. At the moment, Detail view is available, where every line represents an accident, from latest occurrences back to 1945.
The section is structured in the same way as other Flight Fleets Analyzer sections, allowing you to select the columns you see in the grid, as well as filter the results using QFS and the Add Filter menu.
- You are now able to compare the aircraft details as at the time of accident to current details by selecting the relevant columns (that is, by adding the Operator at Accident and Current Operator columns)
- You are able to move in between sections of the product with filters still being preserved. For example, start your search in the Aircraft section, filter to arrive at the fleet you are interested in, then switch to Accidents to see what accidents relate to this fleet. Alternatively, start your search in Accidents and then move to Aircraft Events section to see what events happened to the aircraft involved in accidents.
Below are several examples that illustrate how accidents data could be used.
