Release Notes v8.7

The following new features have been added in this release:

  • Totals on Summary tabs
  • Group by order date
  • Total period utilisation aircraft
  • Bug fix: filter-display fix for narrow and wide displays
  • Bug fix: age filter on Trend pages

Totals on Summary tabs

When grouped data is being viewed on a summary page, there is now the option (on by default) to view totals for each summary column. The total counts unique values: for example, if the column metric is Total Operators, it will only count individual operators once, even though they might appear in multiple groups.

Group by order date

In the previous release we introduced the new field of Order ID. This is particularly useful on the Aircraft Summary page, when applied as a grouping option. To make this feature more useful, we’re bringing in Order Date as another grouping option as part of this release.

Total period utilisation aircraft

This is a new Trend metric which shows the number of aircraft that contribute towards the following trend metrics:

  • Total period hours
  • Total period cycles
  • Average period hours
  • Average period cycles
  • Average period flight time (total period hours/total period cycles)

Total period utilisation aircraft was called “number of reporting aircraft” in ACAS.

Bug fix: Filter display fix for very narrow and very wide displays

We have fixed a bug where the filter columns for aircraft type were not displaying correctly on very narrow (less than 1,256px) and very wide (greater than 1,882px) displays.

Bug fix: age filter on Trend tabs

We have fixed a bug on the Trend and Projection pages where the age-range filter was not being applied correctly.
