Cirium has decided to reclassify the Embraer E195 E2 in its fleets and values database from the existing “Regional Jet” aircraft class to “Narrowbody”.

There are strong arguments to classify the aircraft in either category, but on balance, we recognise that those in favour of Narrowbody (payload-range performance, typical installed seats, markets within which it typically competes) now outweigh those which initially caused us to classify it as a regional jet (four-abreast cabin, predominantly regional airline operator base, limited cargo volume).

This change applies only to the E195 E2 and will be effective from Friday 13 June. If you have created Saved Searches with the E195 E2 included or involving those market groupings, please check them and update if necessary.
