Further to our post on 4 March regarding the monitoring of Middle East based fleets amid the ongoing conflict, Cirium has reviewed and updated the status of non‑military fleets in two additional countries—Kuwait and Bahrain—to Storage.

It should be noted that for certain operators, such as Gulf Air, parts of their fleets are currently operating outside of Bahrain. In these cases, the relevant aircraft have been retained as In Service.

As previously stated, the Fleets Research team continues to closely monitor flight activity across the region and will update fleet statuses as the situation evolves. Any wider updates will be posted here to keep customers posted of our latest policy for particular countries.

Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Cirium has updated the status of non‑military aircraft fleets in Iran and Iraq to Storage. In other Gulf countries, commercial flight activity remains limited; however, Cirium will, for the time being, retain these fleets as In Service.

Using Cirium’s internal flight‑tracking capabilities, the Fleets Research team continues to closely monitor flight activity across the region and will update fleet statuses as the situation evolves.

In the next two months, our data team will implement substantial updates to the records of two key military helicopter models: the Boeing AH-64 Apache and the Boeing CH-47 Chinook.
