As part of our ongoing efforts to improve data consistency and reflect real world industry developments, we are updating the names of selected Original Equipment Manufacturers across Cirium products and datasets.
These changes align our datasets with current manufacturer naming standards.
What is changing?
We are updating OEM names in our datasets to reflect their current, widely recognised industry names.
Specifically:
| Aircraft | Manufacturer Change |
| CRJ100/200, CRJ700, CRJ900, CRJ1000 and CRJ Family aircraft | Bombardier (Canadair) CRJs → Mitsubishi |
| Viking Air aircraft | Viking Air → De Havilland Canada |
You may notice changes where OEM names are used in:
- Saved searches
- Filters
- Reports
These changes will happen automatically; you will not be required to manually update your saved searches.
When will this take effect
The OEM name changes will be released as part of an upcoming data update on 14/07/26.
Note: We recommend updating internal mappings if your workflows depend on specific naming conventions.
