Middle East Fleets Update – 23rd March

Further to our post on 12th March regarding the monitoring of Middle East based fleets amid the ongoing conflict, Cirium has reviewed and updated the status of non‑military fleets in two additional countries—Syria and Qatar—to Storage.

This adds to the previous countries announced – Iran, Iraq, Kuwait and Bahrain.

It should be noted that for certain operators, parts of their fleets are currently operating outside of their home country. In these cases, the relevant aircraft have been retained as In Service.

Additionally, a number of aircraft have been ferried from their home countries to storage locations outside the affected areas, and this is reflected in the fleets data.

As previously stated, the Fleets Research team continues to closely monitor flight activity across the region and will update fleet statuses as the situation evolves. Any wider updates will be posted here to keep customers posted of our latest policy for particular countries.
